A truely amazing piece of art. Jordan’s lyricism and vocal delivery perfectly shape the concept of the album. Each song feels as if it comes from the perspective of a room in a home, locked in space and observing the endless timeline of its human inhabitants. Also, sonically the album is fantastic as it sways between a more classic La Dispute sound and more jazzy tones. In particular, the guitar work is nothing short of fantastic - subtle, tasteful and combines perfectly with the vocal tracks. Luke SS

Completely new to La Dispute, but lured in by the short intro track, the mix of spoken work, tortured vocals, atmospheric guitars and hard impactful sound all mixed together. A very solid album that throws up new things on each listen. Very impressed, and cannot pick a favorite track, as it shifts on each listen. Very well thought out, and executed mindshambles
