Matthieu Bruneaux

Welcome

I am an evolutionary biologist with a strong interest in bioinformatics, Bayesian statistics, and reproducible science.

My last academic position was in Andrés López-Sepulcre’s group (University of Jyväskylä) until August 2020, where I developed new statistical approaches to study nutrient cycling in Trinidadian streams. More about my academic research…

I am currently working as a freelance computational biologist and provide support in statistical modelling (e.g. modelling for applied ecological studies) as well as training in research software development (e.g. version control with Git, collaborative workflows with GitHub/GitLab, R packaging). Feel free to contact me.
