WELP. After my first scratch I bought a gadget for $2 and now I'm softlocked. I have $0 and so I can't buy the next thing to scratch. Reset Progress doesn't seem to do anything :|
Also, I was playing with sound off and so I have no idea what the phone call said.
EDIT: ohhhhhhhhhh, I had to hold down the Reset Progress.
EDIT X2: i guess i also was not scrolled down all the way. I could swear that i didn't see any text on the screen when the phone call happened :/
What device are you playing on? and is it in the browser or the downloaded version?

the downloaded and online is the same i've downloaded it
When the cat unlocked the phone call told me about the fan instead.
Also don't know if this is an exploit, but if you don't completely scratch off the worms you can just take the apple profits and run. Same with Lucky Cat as long as you get at least one profitable uncover.

I played it before there was a prestige mecanic, and I think the current prestige upgrades doesn't add anything interesting to the game for now

Hi there! Very addictive game, I've played a few full runs on Itch, but I tried playing it on Steam and I've encountered a bug. I use my graphic tablet and pen to play, which works just fine on Itch but doesn't work at all on Steam. I suppose there isn't many people who play like that so that will be the last of your problem to fix, but I just wanted to let you know! Good luck for the full release, I'm definitely looking towards it :)
Thanks for playing! Interesting that it doesn't work on Steam, I don't see why it wouldn't. We can't prioritize it but we'll test and see if there's an easy fix :)

a small bug though, the fan gets unlocked before the fan phone call, so you can buy the fan and then still get the phone call about it being available, that's a bit annoying

In the Downloaded desktop version I'm experiencing a weird graphics glitch where the "scratched off" particles are the remaining surface to be scratched off.
I've put in a Bug report for this to be fixed ^^
Otherwise this game is quite fun!

Heya! So I believe I figured out the issue ^^
My system was using my Intel Core i5-4460 for the graphics at the time and it doesn't support Vulkan at all. I recently installed a Nvidia Graphics card and now the same version works perfectly.
If anyone experiences something similar, ensure your system can use Vulkan c:

Bruh, I just closed my tab... and MY PROGRESS IS ENTIRELY GONE! WHY?! I closed it for 5 seconds!

When you pick up the dirty plates and fling them off the table out of frame, then the game get soft locked. I.e. the music keeps playing but nothing happens anymore
Why do the plates have a negative outcome now?

How do I get the garbage can again after first reset?
It's a bit bugged right now. You need to wash 7 plates and you unlock it in the gadget shop
I just made a huge power move on phone guy by getting out of bankruptcy with a dish I still had and throwing away the loan
