I just wanted to add to my previous comment about making your own gnuk key storage dongle. This is the best option I've found to date, re-purposing the nicely made widely available "STLink v2" clone dongles. They cost around $3 and come packaged in a robust anodized aluminum case. You still need to program it via either another STLink or the "stm32flash" program and a 3.3 volt USB-UART adaptor like I described previously, (Many "Arduino" clones contain a compatible 3.3 volt USB-to-UART-at-CMOS-level-serial adapter, don't use RS232- the voltage is too high.) So there still is some assembly required. Still, much better option, because of the metal case, and very affordable. Link: https://blog.danman.eu/2-usb-crypto-token-for-use-with-gp...
