Openoffice not working on Knoppix

Am I the only one that is not able to run Openoffice on a Knoppix Live
CD? I dunno why but when I run whatever OO application it stops at the OO
splash screen... shall I configure somehow?

For the rest Knoppix 3.2 is great (and so far I use Koffice when I need
an office application in Knoppix)! It might be good to mention also
Knoppix-STD which is a Knoppix distribution focused on security wna with
all the right tools available.
