The solution to which problem? We have the freedom to choose between GPLv2 vs GPLv3 products. Yet for some reason the vast majority of people seem happy with products that restrict what they can do much more than with *either* GPL version: should that be regulated too/first? Prohibition of closed-source software, now that could be an interesting social experiment...
