I'm don't really disagree with the article, but it was worthless none the less. He's the guy running around on a sinking ship and saying that every attempt to keep it afloat is wrong and will never work. Maybe he's right but you still have to try using the tools at hand. Pointing out that the most common software tools are all flawed is of no use whatsoever unless you have a better suggestion. And what about the trillions of lines of code that exist using these tools? Should we scrap it and start over?

Everyone, I have an idea, let's get rid of those horrible languages and right all of our new and secure software with super secure GeeWiz++. Once we rewrite Windows, Linux, OSX, BSD and every other OS in the world, we'll all be safe. Oh wait, those lousy CPU's are unsafe too.
