another factor, unmentioned in the report, is the number and duration of
system or service restarts. it would be interesting how many full system
restarts the typical LAMP stack would have needed to go through during
those two years.

a metric like 1 minute for service restart and 5 minutes per system
restart could have given an interesting total measure of downtime...

perhaps a bit vague and too much dependent on the actual organization....
interesting nevertheless.
