Trends and Solutions in IoT for Precision Agriculture

Participating journal: Discover Internet of Things

The evolution of the Internet of Things (IoT) along with sensors and devices for precision agriculture is directly linked to the needs and interests of humanity. These advances also include migration to cloud computing, data engineering, and the democratization of tools. These changes allow for better management, data quality, security, and scalability, reducing operating costs to produce more and with quality, ensuring sustainability. Therefore, algorithms in conjunction with tools and technological solutions need to evolve not only in data processing but also in the communication and processing of information for a scenario that often requires extra effort due to various physical and technological issues. Therefore, we invite authors with innovative and related themes and ideas to contribute, and thereby also help to reduce food shortages with technologies involving IoT.
