The Special Issue on Artificial Intelligence in Systems Engineering in the Springer Nature Journal Innovations in
Systems & Software Engineering (ISSE) will consist of selected papers from the ACSS 2025 symposium. We announce this CFP as an Open-Call seeking high-level contributions from the community beyond the symposium authors. The Special Issue is expected to cover the following research areas:
● AI in Requirements Engineering
● AI in Analysis and Verification Techniques
● AI in Security Systems Design
● AI in Robotics Software
● AI in Internet of Things and Signal Processing
● AI in Big Data Management
● AI in Code Generation
● AI in Distributed Ledger and Blockchain
● AI in Cloud Computing
● AI in Software Project Management
● AI in Bioinformatics
● AI in Distributed Systems
Authors of manuscripts submitted to ACSS 2025 will be invited separately if their paper qualifies for the SI. The short-listed papers from ACSS 2025 and the submissions from the open call will be reviewed using the Springer
reviewing tool, SNAPP.
Submission Guidelines:
Authors for the open-call are to submit their manuscripts directly to the ISSE portal. Authors should check the journal homepage for the entire Submission Guidelines before selecting the “Submit Manuscript” link. Please note that during submission, the authors will be prompted to indicate whether their paper belongs to a collection in
the “Details” section of the submission process. Please note that “special issues” are referred to as “collections”
within Snapp. Please choose the collection for Artificial Intelligence in Systems Engineering to submit your manuscript
to the SI.
