Participating journal: Discover Internet of Things

The aim of the Topical Collection is to showcase the advances in the areas of smart mobility and logistics for academics, industry and governmental institutions. This Collection welcomes full-length technical papers, which will undergo a peer-review process and subsequent publication. Novel and original papers on theoretical development and with solid empirical grounding should include, but not be limited to, the following:

    Ansar Yasar

    Professor Ansar Yasar, PhD, Hasselt University, Belgium. He is a Professor at the Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) – Hasselt University Belgium. IMOB is one of the top European institutes focusing on the broader themes of road safety and transport management using new modes of mobility. His broader research interests include smart cities & communities, connected & intelligent mobility, drones system management, road safety using smart transport solutions and mobility management. He has authored more than 175 research articles in renowned international journals, conferences and workshops.
  • Tarek R. Sheltami

    Professor Tarek R. Sheltami, PhD, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. He received a Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Queen’s University, Canada, in 2003. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Computer Engineering Department, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. He is also an Adjunct Professor with the Jodrey School of Computer Science, Acadia University, Canada. He is the Co-founder of the IEEE International Symposium on Emerging Ubiquitous and Pervasive Systems, IEEE International Symposium on Applications of Ad hoc and Sensor Networks.

    Professor Stéphane Galland, PhD, Université de Technologie de Belfort Montbéliard, France. Professor Galland is the Head and Executive Director of the research laboratory on Distributed Knowledge and Distributed Artificial Intelligence – CIAD UR 7733 – of “Université de Technologie de Belfort Montbéliard” – UTBM from 2024 to 2028. His research interests are focused on the original domain of “Agent-oriented Software Engineering” and “Agent-based Simulation”, two sub-fields of artificial intelligence, applied to Transportation, Smart Cities, Smart Buildings, Energy, Industry 4.0 and e-Health issues.
