When Richard Nixon was elected in 1968, 'middle class' was defined as one Union job paying a salary that could pay for a house and college for the kids. In those days, $1 million was considered a vast fortune. Between 1968 and 1992, the GOP controlled the White House completely, except for Carter's single term. The GOP is working hard to convince the people that voting for the other side won't change anything. They want so badly to stay in power. I've been repeating these two stories for years. Bayard Rustin was a gay Black man who was instrumental in organizing MLK's March on Washington. MLK never spoke about LGBTQIA+ issues when he was alive, because he and Rustin knew that 1960s america wasn't ready for that conversation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayard_Rustin In 1860, escaped slave Frederick Douglas backed Abe Lincoln over a candidate who was strongly in favor of immediate and total abolition of slavery. Douglas made the cold blooded choice to back a winning candidate who was open to persuasion over a losing candidate he agreed with.

You can fact check me on this: The one and only Palestinian leader, Haj Amin-al-Husseini arrived to understandings with Hitler that Jews from Europe will be banished to Israel (then Israel-Palestina) so that when he finishes with Europe's Jewry he'll come finish the job in Israel. Al-Husseini than went to the entire middle eastern countries and caused them, one by one, to banish their Jews. Go ahead and check how many Jews were living in Iraq prior to the 40’s.
