8 months ago	mod	Removed Comment The Church is Israel—the spiritual continuation and fulfillment of the covenant. This has been the consensus of the Church Fathers since the apostolic age. God is triadic—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Salvation comes through Christ alone. He is the only way to the Father and will judge all humanity according to the Gospel. The Old Covenant finds its completion in Christ and His Body, the Church. Can someone be saved outside the visible Church? Only God knows. But rejecting the Messiah is objectively spiritually dangerous. When we consider those outside the Church—be they Jews, Mormons, Hindus, or anyone else—our only concern should be how to bring them to Christ. Period. There is no way to retrofit Judaism—or any other religion—into the Christian paradigm. Protestants often fall into syncretistic ecumenism, especially when it comes to Judaism. Terms like “supersessionism” and “replacement theology” are ahistorical slogans used to attack a foundational belief held by the Apostles, affirmed by the Fathers, and upheld by the Orthodox Church to this day.
