If your only standard is "better than the only other option" and the only other option literally gets worse day after day... It doesn't take long for both options to be dog shit The only way you manage to keep one to a higher standard, is voters taking a stand and saying "not the literally worst option" isn't enough. Like, are you ever going to vote R? I'm not, the majority of the country won't either. So if the only other option is one we have zero say in who the candidate is... How do you look at what each of us is doing and think I'm the problem? Your course of action is what lead republicans to trump in the first place, and your mad at anyone that wants Dems to take a different path. The issue is your not planning long term, and when someone does, you get mad at them because you think people can't plan for long *and* short term.

Taking a page out of the DNCs playbook I see... >That’s what the attorney reportedly said in a Florida federal court: >We could have—and we could have voluntarily decided that, Look, we’re gonna go into back rooms like they used to and smoke cigars and pick the candidate that way. That’s not the way it was done. But they could have. And that would have also been their right. >The same lawyer also argued that there is “no contractual obligation” to prevent advantage or disadvantage between candidates, and that the evenhandedness and impartiality language in the DNC charter is not “self-defining.” https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/dnc-lawyer-reportedly-said-they-could-have-chosen-between-clinton-sanders-over-cigars-in-back-rooms/ Really wish at least one of our only two options was pro-democracy
