Stay inside with Soul-o, tea and a nice cozy fire. Sending " warm" winds, your way, from here in New Mexico where this morning it was 23, certainly warmer than 5 and we have no snow is on the ground. ! I look at your nine patch for warmth and I think of the dyed scraps that I finally put together in a little cloth this weekend that helped me to ask the question of am I doing enough, to uphold Democracy in America. Are signs and phone calls to the White House and our congressional reps and senators and conversations with neighbors, the local grocery clerk, the librarian who likes to chat when I return books, with family and especially teenage grand children enough? As I stitched those raggedy scraps together, I thought of how we are all raggedy scraps of humanity that make up the quilt that is America...

Burrrr! I am in the Panhandle of Florida. The temp outside was 20 degrees. I know your cold is different from ours.. Can't imagine how many layers I would require if I was there !
