Any questions here

Will there be a theme?

Also, what exactly does "10 minutes" mean? Do we get time to plan, create assets, and set up the structure, or does everything have to fit into those 10 minutes?

Are we allowed to use premade assets or does everything have to be created during the jam?

Can we prepare templates or boilerplate code beforehand?

The game coding and testing is the only part that counts, the preparing, designing and exporting does not count. And there will be no theme.

Just to be clear. If I'm using an engine like Unity, and I'm dragging and dropping objects, creating walls and the player, etc., that does not count towards the 10 minutes. But when I write scripts and test the game that is counting towards the 10 minutes?

Host

yes

How do you know if the participants really created their game in 10 minutes? It's hard to prove it. Or do you trust that no one is cheating? Thanks in advance :)

I can see some stuff about the project and I can tell by how good the game is on how likely it took to make. Thanks for asking!

Thanks for your reply! I'll also do some advertising among friends because I really like the idea and it might be fun :)

Oh yeah, thanks!

Are pre-made assets and asset packs allowed?

Host
