Nice work! I feel like I got a bit too powerful in it, but I don’t really think that’s a bad thing 😁

But why do I have to kill the kittens? :(

I think the basic mechanics are solid, but it needs polish. For example, it took me a while to figure out I can upgrade my buildings, and then the upgraded versions and their effects are not clearly visible.

The loop theme didn't really work for me because I got to the end on the first run, but otherwise, I don't think I would remember or really consider too much of the timeline of events. I do like the concept though. I think I would consider some changes to the events: make them more impactful, so it's worth remembering them, and maybe provide some way to gradually save some of the timeline as a kind of reward so the player doesn't have to keep track of every single event.

The graphics don't really match, there's different scales of pixel art and then the hand-drawn parts, although individually I think it's fine.

I think it would be good to have the enemy path before “war” events, as far as see it’s constant, and even if it wouldn’t be, it could lead to more strategy. Also, removing towers manually would be add some level of strategy too (it could take a turn, or only work if you want to replace tower right now).

I also think that trying to implement elements of three different genres, while interesting on it’s own, left little time to polish and balance a lot of things.

Reminds me of that one bloons city builder. Cool blend of the roguelike and tower defense genres!!

very zesty. i liked the concept!! a tower defense game where you also have to build "towers" in your limited space to get resources! i liked it as a factorio and bloons fan :)

I like the idea of taking up spots that would usually be used for towers as resource generation. Adds some strategy to where and what to place and when.

Your storytelling skills just turned a simple tower defense into a whole journey, nice job!
