Hi Bit Bet

Thanks for your submission to the we&we Character Sheet for Life design jam. Your business card is simple and practical, and clearly described in your comment on this page. Here is some feedback: I would like to see the wonderful explanation you wrote (on this page) in the submission PDF on page 1, a set of cards (8 per page) on page 2, with the backs (optional) on page 3. That would be awesome and helpful. There could be one more line for the goal section. What do you think?

When you are ready... please post about your entry, this jam, and/or we&we on social media to qualify as a winning submission! I will be in touch via Bluesky to gather your shipping information at the end of the jam.

Hi! I agree with your idea and just published 2 new files: a A4 with 10 one- sided cards ready to print & cut, and another version with 10 double-sided cards. It was easier this way, latex is... a fickle tool.

I didn't insert the text explanation in the pdf for 2 reasons: what's in the files is ready to print, nothing else needed. Also, the text is already here and in the project page, I think it's enough?

I may create another file called "My 2 cents" or "instructions" if needed but i'm not sure right now.

Awesome! Yes, that works.
If you need help with the layout and making PDFs, feel free to let me know.
Thanks for making the updates. You rock!

While experimenting with this game, I noticed that after long, demanding days, I would get stuck. When I couldn’t find the energy to write at the end of the day, reflection became another burdensome task instead of a gift.

So I chose simplicity, for me and everyone else who wants to try it: I created a small business card, something I could always carry with me.

Why this card exists

This is a small anchor in the middle of a busy day, a reminder that growth is always possible, no matter how hard, complex, dreaful, stressed things are.

When life accelerates, long reflections slip away, intentions blur, memory turns into noise and then fades. Writing can feel heavy. Remembering can feel even harder.

So this card asks less of you:

  • A moment of presence
  • A mark if you can
  • A word if you want

Each dot is more like a reminder, than a record. You don’t need to explain yourself here, simply notice.

Tracking goals doesn’t have to be analytical, perfect, or complex. It can be light, physical, immediate. A gesture instead of a paragraph.

I hope this card helps turn attention into action, and helps you remember who you chose to be, even when the day forgets you.

Carry it. Use it. Let it fill slowly. Progress is not accumulation. It is awareness, repeated.

Versions included

You will find two versions:

  • A simple business card, meant to be printed in as many copies as the goals you are walking toward
  • A front/back version with a title and brief instructions, serving as a gentle reminder.

And remember: small actions, repeated with care, change the shape of a life.
