This game is fun, I dont ever play typers so this was something new for me. But using the words your typing to tell a visual novel ish story is a fun idea and I think this game does it well along side the art of the 2hus as birbs is fun.
Easily the best part of this game is the sound design thought, the click click click click when you type is really nice.

If I need to recommend one thing for the post jam version is add something to spice up the background, the flat plane works but id really like to see more eye candy.

I played the jam version for rating purposes. Will say that the concept of telling a story through a typing game is actually pretty novel.

Total nonsense. Keep up the good work.

Hello! The version I played allowed you to type singular highlighted words instead of whole sentences. Recall hearing that the og version required you typing everything hence me clarifying. I will be commenting on what I played, which is the single word version.

A fun and silly typing game that goes off the rails as you continue playing. I liked how random critters like the fish would invade you mid-dialogue and force you to type them away alongside your regular typing. Not too demanding and a fun romp of a journey

The gameplay itself is okay, but what makes it better, in my opinion, is how fucking stupid the story is. The stupid drawings, the fish being sent through the stages of grief, Seija speaking in reversed text, a Sonic Adventure 2 reference, it's all amazing. That's the only highlight for me from this game though, as the rest is not that fun and the theme isn't really there. Yuuma's second prompt would not work at all since I was playing the jam version, and it would leave me to promptly die soon afterwards. Seija's gimmick, while funny, is very annoying and tedious, and wasn't fun at all. The rest of the gameplay is very bland, though.

This was my first game of the jam and it was quite an opening. It was very frenetic and I didn't know what was happening half the time so I was engaged all the time. However I also had to focus a lot after I lost the first time, I just didn't want to lose the second time and I put my all so it felt like it was never going to end so I didn't had time to make sense of the jokes. On the other hand, the fever dream felt quite unique so I really was having fun with all the noise that was been thrown at me.

I type rather fast, Above 90 letters per minute. I saw that you can decrease the speed on the options but I didn't change those. But for many people I think it can be a too unforgiving so definitively for the future if there's more work on it or if there's another project that has a focus on typing, having options that are more clear here and there or a better indicator of progress or even breaks of 5 seconds to feel a sense of accomplishments would be greatly welcomed since my hands actually hurt by the end of the game hahahaha.

My favorite parts: When things where misspelled, or weird sentence, I lost wen it changed from bleu blue to bleurb bleurb hahaha When Seija appeared was definitively the highlight for me, I really felt that I had focus and it was more than a joke, it felt like playing with the character dynamic through gaming which felt original.

I really wanted to like this more than I did. The writing was funny, but some of the self-awareness needed to be toned down a little. It's one of those humor quirks that quickly outwears its welcome.

And on the subject of outwearing its welcome, the gameplay went from being funny to extremely tedious within about two minutes. The game would've benefited a lot more from typing something besides every single full sentence the characters were saying. Typing of the dead is fun because the words come rapidly and are full of different quirks that can trip the player up. While some of the sentences had typing quirks, they were far more annoying than "fun." And at a certain point, it just feels like work to be typing full sentences. Also, the second "give me oil!!!" prompt wouldn't clear me and ended up... hurting me? I got a red halo and then the game abruptly gave me a game over during the sonic adventure 2 reference. Don't really feel like typing all that nonsense again to see if it happens again.

I would recommend something more like a "words of power" system where the player gets to enjoy the dialogue without having to type every single word out, focusing on highlighted text instead.

I appreciate the critique you have given.

I do agree with alot of the things you mentioned and i do have some plans to change or remake a few things.
The random dying is an evil bug i have been fighting with the death system when the player is hit once. I will probably just remove the whole dying stuff because its evil and unfun when it malfunctions. Will probably replace it with something less consequences like a point score system or something.

I wont promise too much, but i will try to improve it a bit in a postjam version. And i will probably shamelessly steal and plagiarize the "words of power" suggestion before i leave this game alone in the archives for the rest of time.
