Even though it's a short experimental story, the writing makes it very easy to understand what's happening.

The game runs smoothly, controls included, although a softlock or two is possible with the wrong step or jump (especially the third room). The visuals also look nice, with only a minor visibility issue in the hallway corner at the start. (The pure black corner lacks landmarks at the "forward" angle to tell how far I need to walk until turning.)

The pixel art and calm, melancholy music are both excellent additions! They remind me of Yume Nikki. I'm not immediately sure if that was the intent, but it's a fun connection. Combined with the entire dream concept, this is a very interesting Yume-Nikki-esque game concept!
