Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
I instantly thought of touch and connection, especially the idea that when relationships end, there's a "last time" people hold hands or touch. I decided to make this game poem about a breakup and the unraveling involved when people go their separate ways.

I absolutely love the blend of the art style and music. It instantly transports you into an exotic, humid atmosphere. The slate art style fits the overall color palette perfectly. It feels like such an exquisite and poetic expression, especially achieved within a limited timeframe!

good storytelling with minimal elements, the intentionality of the drawing apart is poignant, it also makes me think of all the ways people come and go from "those places" in our lives, and how they fill them in companionably and also how they can leave them empty or fill them in the wrong way. I crave a similar story where you try to find the right strips among many, to fill in the missing parts of two overlapping pictures, seeing how they blend when they do.

Beautiful topic, art, and gameplay. I'd only suggest a more gestural approach to pulling the strips apart. Dragging each one, one by one from the center to the edge of the screen eventually becomes a bit of a chore. Even if in the process it drives home the point of this disentangling being something that we make happen and not something that just happens to us.

The game’s story is really nice, the graphics are clean, it runs smoothly and the sound is really nice. I do wish the cutscene at the start was a bit more clear it was a cutscene as I think it took a bit too long as I didn’t fully realize it was a cutscene. Also, I do wish there was a bit more gameplay or a bit of a longer story but overall, a really great game!
