Beef Shorthorn Cattle

BREED: I like the fact that beef master cattle can either be very uniform in color or very different. Sometimes it is a neat experience to see what some of your cows throw. However, at the same time when you're taking them to the sale barn you need them to be solid color but you can achieve this by matching the cow to the correct bull.

Shorthorns have been around since the 18th century when they were developed in England.

We woke up to a blanket of snow today! Nearly all of the cows and calves were still in the cow barn when we arrived this morning... This is the first snow the baby calves have seen... These are mother cows that have not calved yet... We have a new baby this morning: Baby number 12 has arrived... This mama loves her new bull calf...
