Funny thing is, I downloaded this game to play later and forgot the description. So I was sure Jackie is a yandere. Imagine my surprise lol
The game is good! Finally a classic yandere sim that isn't afraid to show cruelty and madness. I'll be looking forward to the continuation! Good luck with the development!
Well this was disturbing but I can't wait to see more of Eden's personality. I just hope that Jackson's okay.
Insane, disgusting, disturbing- I love it.
Can't wait for the full game. I do love happy endings, fluffy stories, and passionate romances, but I also really heckin love deep, dark traumas and things you can never come back from. Stuff that really messes with your head. Heck yeah.
SPOILERS:
Only thing, though, there seems to be nothing about how he keeps MC alive. There is NO WAY you would survive bleeding like that for more than 20 or 30 minutes.
He seems to be just hacking off limbs and drilling into your bones. First, you'd pass out from shock real quick. Second, YOU WOULD BLEED OUT SO HECKIN FAST. People are not endless fountains of blood.
Thanks so much! And about the blood loss, we do know haha. The final ver will require spectacular suspension of disbelief, mentioning now just so it won't be rude awakening to anyone expecting realism (:

I was debating whether I should leave a comment or not as I'm not even the target demographic, but... eh..
First off, the title of this game and the double theme (society -> genetic matchmaking/ Eden's attempt to
mutilateforge MC into the perfect partner) are a perfect fit. The menu music? It's called Bluebeard. Also fitting.There is a really good cohesiveness here despite having many cooks working on it. Be it sprites, backgrounds and even the choice of font. There is also nice contrast going on with how clean and empty (less being more) the backgrounds, UI, sprites and CGs are, compared to the game's merciless and gory nature.
I played through the end. *Extreme body mutilation is not my cup of tea. So I cannot say that I liked that, but the theme is good and it was an interesting read.
Really good and memorable music. "Brownout" feels sentimental, like days blending into the other. Suits the MC and her "best" friend hanging out and being poor souls trying their best.
* This is not a criticism of the content of the game. Maybe a view point from someone who isn't into mutilation, or at least that much? Sometimes you need to play something despite content warnings to see if it's something you enjoy. I do like dark content. Composition and intensity of that said content comes in flavors. Sometimes you ain't into it.

Hi! We were getting these questions and we explained in the last devlog with more detail. We're adding new features, but we changed the full game release time, estimating a month from now.

i like that the writers didn't shy away from mc & jackson wanting explore their relationship (both/ either: sexually &romantically) like mc thinks they have been abandoned for years without a single fucking conversation, and Jackson's accepted & respected his partner sexuality.

Lol so true. Jackson and MC felt too sweet right there to think of what's coming. MC and Jackson's situations were definitely considered for... that scene. Complex, but so has their love been in either homies, pals, besties, or in the something-more way ;)
As to release date, ideally it'll be 1-2 months as to not rush.

I am practically buzzing with anticipation for the full release. Everything about this makes me shiver in both horror and anticipation, because of multiple factors.
What happened to Jackson, is he still okay?
Why would Eden do this to us, from the messages to hacking the PC's body to pieces?
Who was being fed to us, because that certainly was human we were being fed.
What are the laws of this world, why are only a small section of people chosen to be put into Matching Day (If I understood that correctly) and why doesn't the system not account for those like Camila whom aren't searching for that kind of partner?
I suppose that's what comes from it being a dystopia, but that makes me wonder how Eden got into the system and why.
The sections with Jackson were sweet, and I really route for him and the MC, even if that isn't what the game is intending for us X)
I really hope that the MC can get out of this situation, the ache in my chest that I felt when we found out about their legs was palpable, and I really hope for the best for them, they were dealt a pretty horrible situation without them knowing.
I look forward to more of this, keeping a very close eye and thank all of you guys for doing such a great job, the art, sprites and music are all just phenomenal so far!!!

Just finished playing and I must say, the concept is wonderful and I am intrigued! Why did Eden take so long? I'm sure to him his text sounded reasonable but it comes off as dismissive to the MC.
And BOY am i worried for our friend/boyfriend. I hope he's alright.
