Personal

I am Prabakaran Murugesan, born in Tiruvannamalai, India. Before moving to the Netherlands a while ago (~2019), I was working mostly in startups in Bengaluru and Chennai for more than 5 years. During my non-working hours, I like to run, watch documentaries and read books. Recently (2024) we had a son, and love to play with him whenever I get time.
Work style and Communication

I tend to dig deep on the problems to understand the core, which makes me more comfortable while coming up with solutions and implementing them. But this approach is time consuming and might not be efficient always. So I am trying to catch myself early, so that I can move fast. Please let me know if you find me lost somewhere.
I prefer to get direct feedbacks and suggestions, so please bring them on! When I am interacting in any issue or MR it's always about the work but not the author, I try by best to be humble with my language.
Timing

I am based out of Hoofddorp, Netherlands and I work from here almost all the time, except a planned 2 months a year, when I go to my hometown in India and work from there.
Irrespective of the location, I try to work from 9:00 - 18:00 local time. But I don't mind taking meetings in the late evenings (till 22:00 local time) if the timezone doesn't support any common slots during the day.
