1.4 beta: Default style for tools not respected (regression)

Summary:

The preferences-skeleton.h file says that rectangles are blue, stars are yellow, circles are red by default ... However, possibly to 'last used style' being empty, they all come out as black in a new Inkscape installation. This is not how it was intended to be (also not how it's documented).

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape after resetting the preferences
• draw with any shape tool (except for 3D box, that one works for some reason)

What happened?

Shape is black.

What should have happened?

Shape should be using the default color set in the preferences instead of black.
