macOS: Print preview does not work

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch Inkscape and create some artwork
2. Open the print dialog File > Print...
3. Choose your printer that otherwise will print the document (test that first)
4. Click Preview

What happened?

Nothing

What should have happened?

The app Preview should open with a new untitled document containing the print preview. I remember this worked on 0.47.
