(snap) Hidden file after exporting/saving
Summary:
From the export options menu select some extension (any: PNG, PDF, JPG, etc), then select the destination folder where the file name is included, it is exported but it appears hidden in the destination folder. It also happens when saving an SVG file.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Inkscape
- File > Export
- Select export format (for example: PNG)
- Click on the -browse export directory- button
- Select directory (for example: /home/Download/)
- Assign file name (for example: 01)
- Click on the save button
- Click on the ok button (PNG export preferences dialog)
What happened?
In the folder that was selected for export, the file is hidden with the name:
/home/Download/.xdp-.goutputstream-YPMBY1-cT3yuw
What should have happened?
Correctly save the file, with name and extension.
Sample attachments:
Exported PNG file: .xdp-.goutputstream-YPMBY1-cT3yuw

Other related data
-
The only way to avoid this is to add the extension manually when adding the file name. However, in a batch export, this is impossible and all exported images are hidden.
-
If you do not click on the browse button, and save directly, the file is also hidden.
