Build writes to the source directory

Steps to reproduce:

Standard build processing where only read-only access is available to the source directory (the source directory is on a different userid).

What happened?

The build attempts to write two files to the source directory, specifically "share/filters/filters.svg.h" and "share/templates/templates.h" and fails.

What should have happened?

The output from both commands which generate the aforementioned files should be directed to the binary directory.
