Slow/Hangs at startup or open/saving files if recently-used list contains old network shares

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape OR
• open file OR
• save a file

What happened?

I have to wait 30-40 seconds for inkscape to start responding again.

What should have happened?

I should be able to start/continue editing without waiting for inkscape to start responding again.

Inkscape Version and Operating System:

• Inkscape Version: Inkscape 0.92.5 (2060ec1f, 2020-04-08)
• Operating System: Windows 10
• Operating System version: 10 Pro 64-bit (1909)

Note: I followed the steps on the old Launchpad bug report (https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1795166), removing the entries in %localappdata%\recently-used.xbel for the old network shares fixed the problem. Maybe there's a way to automate this?
