Can't drag and drop images or pdf anymore in the latest version

Summary:

In the latest version Inkscape 1.0.1 if I try to import with drag and drop an image or a pdf doc nothing happens. With the previous version everything was fine.

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• pick an image from pc and drag and drop on inkscape viewport

What happened?

• nothing happens

What should have happened?

• the image should appears onto viewport
