"changed files in the MR" popup needs me to visit the Changes tab

The "changed files in the MR" popup (shortcut t) only works for me (Firefox 131.0.2, Linux) if I first visit the Changes tab (see attached video). Otherwise I get some generic file search popup. After having visited Changes, it also works in Overview.

Shift+Reloading the page takes me back to the broken state reliably.
