GraphQL queries to getStateSubscription and mergeChecksSubscription endpoints exceeding 1s duration threshold

Summary

Approx 17% of GraphQL queries to endpoint getStateSubscription and mergeChecksSubscription are taking longer than the 1s threshold for a Dedicated customer, causing Dedicated EOCs to be paged due to Apdex SLO violations. The calls are not erroring, just taking a very long time. query_analysis.duration is magnitudes lower than the actual duration.

Impact

  1. At least one Dedicated customer is experiencing slower responses to this Graphql query endpoint than the accepted 1s threshold.
