Problem to solve
After upgrading our GitLab CE omnibus instance from 18.0.x to 18.2.x, the WebIDE stopped working.
Further details
Our configuration has CSP header enabled, with strict configuration.
On browser console, clear error on worker-src requiring blob:.
Proposal
- Add a note in the upgrade documentation for 18.x releases about the new CSP requirement.
- Update the WebIDE documentation page to explicitly mention required CSP directives (e.g.
worker-src blob:).
