Snippets: wrong timestamp

Everyone can contribute. Help move this issue forward while earning points, leveling up and collecting rewards.

Summary

The list of snippets shows wrong "updated xxx ago" timestamps.

Steps to reproduce

  • login to your gitlab.com accounts
  • open the list of your own snippets

Note: my snippets in question are private, so excluded the case they are modified by someone else.

Example Project

gitlab.com

What is the current bug behavior?

  • list is sorted by some timestamps, newest on top
  • but the timestamps assigned to "updated" are some (random?) values. E.g. a snippet I worked on months ago is shown as "updated 24 minutes ago". 24 minutes ago I was not even logged in nor connected to gitlab in any way.

What is the expected correct behavior?

  • list is sorted by "last updated" timestamps, newest on top
  • "updated xxx ago" tells me when I last actually made changes to the given snippet
