Keyboard shortcut for toggling between "inline" and "side-by-side"

I would like to have a keyboard shortcut for toggling between "inline" and "side-by-side" view when viewing a merge request. For me it's commonplace that some files are easier to read when viewing "side by side", while most files are easier to read in the "inline" mode.

At the moment the experience of reviewing a merge request is pretty fluent with the ability to navigate between commits with X and C, and jump between files with J och K. However I think the experience could be much better. Right now I'm required to scroll to the top to make the cogwheel visible, click it and then toggle the mode i want.

For example: Bitbucket has this feature, bound to Shift+D.
