Clear doesn't reset search for file but to global search when triggered by "Find file"

Proposal

When triggering "Find file" via the button, global search is launched preset to find files with the prefix ~.

However when "Clear" (x) is pressed, then the search returns to the global search state which searches everything

Expected behavior is to return back to the finding file state.
