Chad has asked on slack for assistance in initial learning curve for editing it:

There’s many changes/improvements we’d like to make. E.g. changing the title (our group is no longer editor), adding some X axis labels, maybe reordering the tabs at the bottom, etc. I’m not even sure if I have the right access to edit it.

I have had my Tableau editor training course on my TODO list for a while but haven’t gotten to it 😞 .

Would it be possible to set up a short training session with someone who knows Tableau to give me a quick start on just editing some basics like I mentioned above, and then I can take it from there?

Or if not, point me to the docs for the specifics on changing the things mentioned above?

Carolyn Braza: Do we have any kind of Tableau crash course/quickstart-type documentation available anywhere? Or is Tableau Office Hours the best place for those types of questions? cc @Chad Woolley

Israel Weeks: We have this training section in the handbook with recommended minimum training guidance. That would be the best first step. It is 4 hours time commitment for Creators. We advise team members to take the recommended training and then come to the office hours for additional questions. Acceptance Criteria

• Rename dashboard to proper group name - DONE - it is now located at https://10az.online.tableau.com/#/site/gitlab/workbooks/2067787/views and named DRAFT: Create::IDE Group Metrics
• Add new dashboard for Workspaces metrics - DONE, named Workspaces Dashboard at https://10az.online.tableau.com/#/site/gitlab/views/EditorMetrics/WorkspacesDashboard?:iid=2
• Add X axis labels
• Improve legends
• Add dashboard(s) to slack channel bookmarks in #g_create_ide
• etc???

Technical Requirements

• As mentioned above, anyone who is going to edit the Tableau dashboards is recommended to take the Creator training: https://handbook.gitlab.com/handbook/business-technology/data-team/platform/tableau/#education

Design Requirements

• No specific design requirements, but we should get design input when making the dashboards usable and useful

Impact Assessment

• This dashboard data is necessary to have insight into the usage of the IDE group's features
