  @m_frankiewicz @wortschi @justin_ho I imagine we have a number of instances of i18n strings being passed to sprintf which would result in this same issue if they contain any special characters. Are you aware of any previous issues or an approach we could take to find and fix them all and prevent introducing new ones?
