Docs tutorial: Identify topics in mature, high-impact areas for new GitLab users
Goal and proposal
This issue aims to gather ideas and identify at least one topic that could use a tutorial in any of the following groups:
- ~"group::integrations"
- ~"group::editor"
- groupglobal search
A tutorial is a task-based end-to-end workflow that helps users achieve a specific outcome. The tutorial topic should be:
- In a mature, high-impact area of the product
- For new beginner-level users
For similar tutorials, see Learn GitLab with tutorials.
Action item
I'll create a follow-up issue for each tutorial topic we identify and add it to our docs-only backlog.
Out of scope
We do not have to write any of the tutorials. For the next iteration, we can create a page for each Docs tutorial issue and link to it from the Learn GitLab with tutorials page.
