Allow use of “Create Merge Request” button to open in new browser tab

I often middle-mouse-button click on links and buttons to open up the results in a new browser tab (I’m a bit of a tab hoarder!). I think I would find the ability to do so especially useful when using the “Create merge request” button to automatically create a git branch & MR for the given Issue. I find myself currently first attempting a middle-mouse-button click, realize that did nothing, then duplicating the browser tab before clicking on the button in the duplicate tab. That way I don’t lose my place in the issue itself and I get a branch & MR created for me automatically.

Is there any way we can support the behavior of opening the results in a new tab?
