Snippets with more than 10 files?

The expansion of Snippets to support multiple files was extremely useful.

However, the seemingly arbitrary limit of 10 files per snippet is proving prohibitive for some of my use cases - e.g. collections of config files, new project templates, etc.

Why is this set so low and is there any way that an instance administrator can increase the limit? I cannot find anything in the docs except a confirmation that the limit is capped at 10 and that pushing more than 10 files will result in an error.
