This issue for tracking technical discovery related to adding a cross-page search feature to Project, Group, and Admin settings

Ongoing research, design, and solution validation will inform this investigation.

Context

We completed a technical discovery process for searching settings with two outcomes:

• We discovered a frontend-only solution for searching in individual settings pages: #292941 (closed). We decided to move forward with this solution as an iterative step that provides meaningful value to users.
• We realized that cross-page search is a more complex problem that can benefit from more investigation and learning from early iterations.

Based on these outcomes, we’ve created a new discovery issue to investigate approaches to implement cross-page search.
