Allow to set global settings for merge requests mode
Everyone can contribute. Help move this issue forward while earning points, leveling up and collecting rewards.
Problem to solve
On every project from our instance, we would like to activate "Fast-forward merge" by default and we would love that every merge request has the option to allow rebasing activated by default.
Target audience
This is important for every Team Leader and Project manager that needs to activate this option on every new project of our instance. And this is important for every developer that needs to rebase the branch before merging a 3rd-party MR. Else, we need to wait for the MR-person to do it themselves.
Proposal
It would be nice to be able to set, per instance, globally, some different defaults than the current gitlab one, on those merge-requests options, so we don't have to do it for each project.
