No user feedback when collapsing a diff

When I am reviewing GraphQL MRs, the autogenerated schemas take up a lot of room, so I collapse them.

I find that when I click the collapse widget, there's no feedback. With a larger file (which these are) there's no change for a few seconds and then collapses quickly.

Can we tweak the behaviour so there's some feedback?
