Seamless and easy to deploy bidirectional complete GitLab <-> GitHub <-> LaunchPad total syncing mirroring?
Hello.
I see lots of projects are very interested in GitLab, but thery want to have the moest visibility possible. Some of them are struggling migrating from LaunchPad to GitHub and despite LaunchPad is cumbersome in many ways (not just because it uses Bazaar), it provides features other platform lack (and lots more than mailing list).
Would be possible to sync GitHub, GitLab, LaunchPad content? Including source code, trackers and sync users available on other platforms.
This could make the use of these platforms to gain visibility and make the entry barrier as low as possible, and of course make the transition to GitLab very easy to do.
One dev can be stubborn and prefer X, but he can still contribute and interact with the project. Other prefer to switch slowly because he's too used to X way and eventually will use GitLab.
But every developer is a precious value in a volunteer FOSS project if they provide positive results to the project! This isn't a corporation where you can say how people must dress and what to use, but it's important to reach goals and get as more popular as possible while maintaining the FOSS values and users part of the project too.
Kind regards.
