Listing projects takes too much time
Description
Non scientific test (time it takes to respond to query - the actual DOM rendering is super fast):
- https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org takes 11 seconds to load
- https://gitlab.com/dashboard/projects takes 22 seconds to load
Is this because of the volume of GitLab.com?
Some instance owners have instances containing > 2000 projects. How can we make the list of projects appear faster?
