GlobeControls: incorrect behaviour in non-earth ellipsoids

Summary

The GlobeControls do not work correctly when orbiting a globe much bigger or smaller than the Earth.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the globe example
2. Switch to the "moon" globe
3. Navigate around using the controls

Expected behaviour

The controls behave correctly.

Actual behaviour

The controls jump around, making them unusable.
