I'm Geo! A developer & designer from the US. Nice to meet you.

I work as the IT lead for a small public library in NJ. I was exposed to programming for websites around 2011, but didn't aim for working in the field until well after college. I'd like to start working as a front-end engineer, though I'm flexible on what industry I end up in.

I have experience with:

• Graphic and UX/UI Design (Affinity, Figma)
• Shipping print products
• Building websites from scratch
• Building app prototypes like this one
• I'm equally (highly) comfortable using Windows and MacOS
  • My Linux literacy is intermediate

• Jogging and calisthenics
• Gaming (MMOs, RPGs) and game dev
• Music production
• Creating visual assets (vector & pixel)
• Nature walks
• Museum visits
• Learning languages, albeit casually: Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese

What I'm working on:

• Completing a 5-month full-stack bootcamp (ends March 2026)
• Experimenting with different stacks on my portfolio space
• Laying the groundwork for my dream blogging platform, "mydijo.com"
  • "dijo" = digital journal
  • Inspired by platforms like Tumblr and MySpace
  • Will be FLOSS with the source code available on GitHub/Lab
• Building a few mini-projects using: GameMaker Studio, Godot, Aseprite, && Bitwig Studio
