doctype attribute is being unset when invoking exporter command

The doctype attribute is being unset when invoking the exporter command. Therefore, there is no way to set the doctype to book and all exports are ending up using the article doctype.

The doctype attribute should not be set by the command. Instead, it should only be defined in the document header of the assembly file.
