The Easiest Way

IN-GAME
When opening, Windows SmartScreen may pop up. Don't worry, you can execute anyways.
This game only supports mouse and keyboard.
You can press F11 at any point to switch to fullscreen. 

"The Easiest Way" - Defeat waves of angry-looking red enemies with Kyubi, a cubic (actually square) figure that does not have a single braincell!
Shoot your (looping) boomerangs (that loop) in this simple Beat 'em Up game made of squares and checkered ambients.

This game is my solo submission to the GMTK Game Jam 2025, being my first ever time at this jam and my first ever solo game project.

The theme of the jam was "Loop", and one of my ideas would be a game where you *reach* the loop, by the want of the player or not. My idea is a game that gives you modifications to make your gameplay easier, like in a normal game.
But these modifications get so easy to the point the game becomes boring, and, throughout the game, a reflection is brought up: "Is the easiest path the better one?"

Unfortunately there ocurred some issues with one of the libs I used, so I wasn't able to make an HTML build. Sorry!

I hope you like my game. I am really proud of it, and it was a pleasure to participate in the competition among with so many talented people and games. And sorry for any mistakes in my English, i'm still not fluent... :P
